Football Eve & End Zone Eddie
- The Spirit of a New Season -
When the air turns crisp and the leaves start to fall,
End Zone Eddie starts pacing the hall.
He's a legend in town, known far and wide,
With a foam-finger hand and undying pride.
The calendar flips, the countdown is steady—
It's Football Eve, the favorite of Eddie!
He polishes his helmet, lays out his gear,
And dreams of the kickoff with a jubilant cheer.
He lives for the season, from August to Bowl,
Each Saturday sacred, heart, mind, and soul.
His team is his passion, his weekly crusade,
He bleeds the school colors in every parade.
Come Sunday morning, all eyes are ready,
To watch the antics of End Zone Eddie.
He waves his foam finger high in the air,
Cheering loud with flair beyond compare!
If victory came, he's facing the door,
Chin held high, ready for more.
But if his team takes a heartbreaking fall,
Poor Eddie turns sadly and faces the wall.
He drops the foam finger, lets out a sigh—
Waiting for the next game to cheer and fly.
Through highs and lows, he never quits,
In sun or snow, through slumps and blitz.
Because win or lose, his spirit's steady—
There's no fan alive like End Zone Eddie.
